3DS Action Node

3DS Action Node allows you to instruct your Payment Processor proceed with an Authorization with or without a 3DS request. If the card issuer supports 3DS and you request it, the user will receive a verification request for step-up authentication.

Use when you want to specifically define when to request 3DS, and when to attempt to avoid 3DS. Note that in some markets 3DS is mandatory and in those instances the card Issuer will force step up authentication to your users

• Perform 3DS if possible: send 3DS request as part of authorization call to Payment Processor
• Skip 3DS if possible: do not send 3DS request as part of authorization call to Payment Processor. An Issuer may still unilaterally require 3DS

For high-risk transactions or transactions over a certain threshold, send authorization requesting 3DS authentication
